Мы теперь знаем, как живут ребята из детских домов России, а вот как живут “дети как дети” в соседней Украине? Мы побывали в солнечном городе на побережье Черного моря - Одесса.
Так случилось, что первым сиротским учреждением, открывшим для нас двери, оказался приют № 2 “Дарунок долi” (укр. “Подарок судьбы”). Заведующая приютом Т. И. Кравченко рассказывает: Наш приют для многих детей является домом, так как некоторые живут здесь уже более 2-х лет”. По положению дети здесь должны содержаться не больше 3-х месяцев. Кого-то находят в транспорте, подвалах домов, кто-то сам приходит. Детям здесь нравится: любят заниматься физкультурой в спортзале, играют в футбол, ездят на экскурсии в музеи города. Летом обязательно один раз в неделю автобус вывозит детей к морю.
Администрация г. Одессы на День защиты детей устроила аукцион в парке, и ребята из приюта выставили свои творческие работы. На вырученные деньги все вместе поехали на целый день в Аквапарк. Самое удивительное, наверное, то, что ребята сами приходят в приют после долгих лет скитаний. Кулаков Женя жил в интернате. Однажды в 10 лет бабушка как всегда забрала его на выходные, но обратно Женя возвращаться не захотел. С 10 до16 лет Женя жил в подвалах, бродяжничал, воровал, чтобы пропитаться. Затем его определили в приют “Светлый дом”, но там показалось скучно, ему захотелось новых приключений, и он снова пошел “гулять” - “Позже я понял, - рассказывал Женя,- что так я ничего не добьюсь, и решил сам придти в этот приют”. Здесь он начал по серьезному учиться. Через 7 месяцев после занятий с учителем Женя подтянулся в учебе и уже готов осенью поступить в ПТУ. Всем мальчишкам и девчонкам Женя советует не убегать и не бродяжничать. “Самое главное - получить знания. Без знания не прожить!” - решительно добавил он. Еще одна история. Болдишор Витя родился в молдавской многодетной семье. Отец как-то раз спьяну спалил квартиру. После этого они жили у разных людей. В 14 лет мальчик сбежал от родителей, так как они били, заставляли попрошайничать на рынке. Осенью Витя приехал в Одессу, решил погулять по городу. Но как оказалось одному прожить совсем не легко. Однажды один верующий, набожный человек после беседы дал адрес приюта и Витя, не задумываясь, пришел в приют “Дарунок долi”. Сейчас Вите 15 лет и самая главная его проблема - это абсолютная безграмотность, так как в школу он совсем не ходил (не читать, не писать Витя не умеет). На вопрос о чем он мечтает сейчас, Витя признался, что хочет к маме, к сестрам, братьям.
Не секрет, что сегодня очень много маленьких бродяг гуляет по России, не слишком-то задумываясь о будущем. Они считают, что можно и так прожить, от случая к случаю добывая легкие деньги. Но на примере наших героев мы видим, что жизнь на улице далека от романтики, если ребята сами пришли в приют. Многое в рассказах Вити, Жени “осталось за кадром”. Не хотелось говорить о плохом, ведь в жизни можно столько еще сделать!
